Nostalgia
The term nostalgia describes a yearning for the past, often in idealized form.[1] The word is a learned formation of a Greek compound, consisting of νόστος (nóstos), meaning "returning home", a Homeric word, and ἄλγος (álgos), meaning "pain, ache". It was described as a medical condition, a form of melancholy, in the Early Modern period, and came to be an important topic in Romanticism.[1]

Nostalgia sometimes includes a general interest in past eras and their personalities and events, especially the "good old days" of a few generations back recast in an idyllic light, Sometimes it is brought on by a sudden image, or remembrance of something from one's childhood.

Highlights 8 month's!!

OK here goes! It is August 2010 and I am Blogging about the year so far! I know, I know FINALLY! Well here are a few photos of our highlights so far. I almost gave up on doing this when I saw all our photos so far! It was hard not to choose 200, lucky for us all I didn't do that!! So here's the quick version of 2010 January Through July. Enjoy!
Here We are With my Mom at Six Flags! January 2, 2010 or a day close to it. We had season passes and they expired on Jan 7th so we went one last time and had a wonderful time!! It was a fun Six Flags year!
Macie got Baptized! the first Saturday of 2010! My Mom made her this beautiful dress!

January 7, 2010 Daniel turned 6! Man how can that be! The past 6 years have gone so fast! He asked for and army cake so my mom went to work making this masterpiece! HE LOVED IT! they played with the men on the cake before eating it!!
Trixy's 3 puppies! she had them Jan 6th. By the end of February they were ready to go to new homes. We did keep one, Sophie below! They were all so adorable and fun!
March 3, Read across America Day Read a Thon at Edgewater Elementary school. I dressed as the Cat in the Hat and read to each class! I love being the Librarian!
Baseball season began with a BANG! Daniel and Macie FINALLY go in on the action this year. Cameron & I coached Daniels T-Ball team. It was really a lot of fun!
My favorite quote by Macie during her first softball season, " Who'd a thought Baseball was so much fun!" Huge grin after her first game!

We visited Angela & Jed for a few hours! Cameron's little sis!
gong to Conference was a huge highlight! Ron & Rhonda Chance came on our spring break with us! What a treat!
We did a lot of Temple hopping. Salt Lake, Draper, Rexburg, Idaho Falls & Logan! WE only went in the last 3. But we had a great time! Here we are with Rhett & Claudine in IF!

DALLIN TURNS !13!!! a teenager! He had his birthday while in Idaho at the horse Ranch!

PROM!! Braden & Adria Littlefield went to prom with Andrew & Kayla! The looked amazing and had so much fun! Mothers Day 2010. Before Church, I look happy and Tired! It was early. about 8:30 am. I love my family so much! I am the most blessed mom ever! In may my dear friend Laura Kieth won an all expense paid vacation to to watch the final taping of the BIGGEST LOSER 9! She was kind enough to take me along! here is me, Earl Keith, Allison Sweeny (the host of the show and actor on Days) & Laura Keith! at the After party!

We met tons of people on the show and past contestants! My personal favorite winner was Eric from season 2. He was there with his wife. It was so great to meet him! My highlight!

BRADEN Graduates from Seminary! May 30th! Here he is below with his proud seminary teacher! Below, Adam pitching in his last game of the season! He did a great job! his team went to TOC and did amazing! They had a GREAT year.
FREAKOUT!!! on June 1st BRADEN TURNED 18!!! WHAT!!! No way! YES WAY! CRAZY I know! Here he is with his skittle cake. His favorite candy!Daniel's Kindergarten Promotion. Cameron's parents were here for Braden's Grad and got a bonus with DAN! We had our youngest graduate from Kindergarten the same day our oldest graduated from HIGH SCHOOL!!!

The last day of school, all the Staff of Edgewater Elementary school where I work as the Librarian. What a great bunch of people!
BRADEN GRADUATES High school! June 4th!!! We were all so happy and proud of him! We love you son!

June 29, 19 Wonderful YEARS!.

Anita came out at the end of July to bring Trevor home from EFY and visit a week!!! We wen to SIX FLAGS!

TREVOR TURNS 16! July 22! Anita and Sally threw him a surprise party at EFY!

Eves Reunion 2010 at Willard Bay Utah! over the 4th of July. It was amazing!! All the Family above!TREK! our "Family" It was and amazing experience! One we will never forget!!! Yuba City CA stake, July 22-24th!

DANIEL IS 6!

Daniel turned 6 years old, January 7, 2010! He is growing SO fast! We had a fun birthday for him here are a few photos of fiesta!

Grandma Eves made him a cake. He wanted a GI Joe cake so she made a battlefield on his cake. He came home and said "WOW that's the best cake I've ever had!" He wanted to play with it and kept adding men and bombs.
