The Christmas Tree Is Down! :-(

We took our Christmas Tree down yesterday for family night. It was sad! We usually have it up until after the 1st but we are going to be busy with Macie's baptism on Saturday. We are very excited for her!

We were so busy before Christmas that we didn't post any pictures of us even getting the tree. Here is a late post of our tree hunting experience.

There was a little snow but it was a very nice day.

No we are not going to dig up the tree. These are "walking sticks" for the boys. It was really hard, crusted snow.

The kids were very excited to be up in the mountains and in the snow. Not something we see a lot of here in our part of the country.

This is ended up to be our perfect tree! It was about 13 ft tall and very bushy. It was beautiful!

This is the price you have to pay to get the "perfect tree". I slipped in the icy snow and stopped my fall with my face. Bec sure looks great! I am a lucky guy!

Macie is going to get someone, or two people with snowballs.

Daniel fell down in the icy snow in the same place as I did with the same results!

The tree loaded and ready to go!

The family with our prize tree!

Here is the tree in our house! It takes up a lot of the front room!

Putting the lights on. It takes two ladders and good balance to get them up to the top!

Here is the finished product. There are alot of stories with all those ornaments! This was a great tree!

We had a great Christmas! Sorry for this beautiful tree to go, but now it is time to for the new year! Happy new year everyone!

Here is the link to watch footage to the Last game of the year! Braden Broke his rib 4 weeks ago and thought his season was over! Well he was back in the game for the Last one! Friday he played the whole game and played well! He scored 2 of the 3 touch downs his team got. Sadly the other team got about 3 more touchdown's! So Marysville lost pretty bad! But He did well. Both of his touchdown's are in this footage. They call him "Nudson" Every time they announced his name at the game it was "Brandon Nudson" Kinda funny! He is # 25! Enjoy!

Time just keeps flying by so hang on!!!!

Hey everyone! We are still here. Life is going great and we are loving most of it! I can not believe that it is already November. This year is flying by. Tonight we went to Priesthood preview with Adam. He is 11 and will be turning 12 next October. We also went to a baptism of a boy in Macie's primary class. It is great but weird to see my kids growing up so quickly! Macie will be getting baptised just after the first of the year and Adam is going to be getting the priesthood next year. That means we have been in California for nearly 12 yrs. It doesn't seem possible!
Today I got to bless the Sacrament with Braden and Dallin and Trevor were passing. That was a special experience for me today! I love my seeing my son's maginfying their priesthood and being right there with them. It was great! It is also good to go back and sit with Bec and the family after we were done. That has to be the best part of being released from being the bishop! I love my wife and it is great to be able to sit with my arm around her!
It was a great day today. I love my family. I am a blessed man!!!

Another First Day of School!!!

The end of a very hard week! A week ago I got a new job! Exciting for me, Not so exciting for a lot of people who will have to deal with me leaving Kynoch! I applied for a job at the school that was just finished RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET FROM OUR HOUSE this past summer. Well I finally had an interview a week ago...like I said I got it!! I will be the new Literacy Resource Tech. AKA Librarian! I'm pretty excited. The hard part for me is going in to Kynoch and telling them! I went in on Monday and it went over like a load of Brick!! So hard. SO to make a long story short. Macie and Daniel had to say goodbye to the Teachers they have already learned to love! and I had to say goodbye do the friends/teachers that are like Family to me!
Wednesday was Macie and Daniel's FIRST DAY Of SCHOOL at Edgewater Ell. They were excited and nervous all over again. It was so hard for mom to go through it all over again!!! (Tears)

Daniel with Ms. Johal the last day in her class at Kynoch! we love you!Macie with Mrs. Anderson on her last day in her class. She will be missed!Wednesday morning macie and Daniel standing in front of the sign to their new school.

Friday was my last day of work at Kynoch! I love my coworkers so much! I will miss seeing them every day! What a wonderful 2 years it has been being a PE teacher!!! I truly Love working with Kids and seeing them enjoy learning! I love to see that light come on when they finally understand! Or when they realize they are important and can do anything! Sometimes all it takes if for someone to point that out to them! I am looking forward to continuing that at the new school!Janna, Me and Tedi! I will miss you both dearly! Thanks for making working in the 100
degree weather bearable!! and The Cold days enjoyable!

Below it a door I painted for my good friend and Teacher Mrs. Anthony at Kynoch. I had to finish it before I left! Love you to Stacie! Wish i had gotten a photo of us too!
