Here is the full article from our paper and it includes a great highlight video! go check it out for yourself!!

Marysville Indians Played their across town rival's The Lindhurst Blazers for the championship last friday the 5th of Dec. It was an all out battle for the title! Marysville has already won one game against them 3 weeks earlier so Lindhurst came out even more determined to beat us!

The first half was HARD! They ended the half With Marysville down 1 touchdown! 7 to 12, Not a fun way to head to the locker Room! It must have been some pep talk by coach Cullen Meyer because they came out a new team! Marysville scored right away and kept on going till the score was 33 to 12! We did give away one more touchdown in the end making the score 33 to 19 Marysville wins it's first ever Section Title in it's 137 year school history! Being a division 6 school this is the highest ranking we can take. So this is like STATE for us! It was an unbelievable night and VERY cold for us Californians in the low 40's Add in the CRAZY Fog! and it made for a great game!

Here is a photo just before the game of the croud and the fog. it had lifted a bit here for a brief time.Braden warming up for the game catching a great pass from the QB!Braden behind the camera man filming the crowd going WILD at the end of the game! After the 1 touchdown in the 2nd half we refused to sit down we were going to keep the crowd into the game any way we could and that was pretty much how everyone felt! no one sat down on the Marysville side the whole second half! Here is the final score just 23 seconds before the game ended. I got another shot after the game but the fog was so bad it is too hard to see.Marysville 2008 Section Champions! With their coach Cullen Meyer. What a great night! Braden is in the top right cornerThe Happy, Cold family with #25. Daniel and Macie were here too but had just left with friends to get out of the cold.Trevor, Braden, Kimmey & Destiny Showing their school Pride! Well actually Kimmey goes to a different school now but is proud to support Braden! Even if we did beat her schools team earlier in the year too. Daniel the next day was so tired he fell asleep for 3 hours with his Foam Finger on! he didn't take it off all day!

Lawns!

Every week the boys head out to do their lawn business. This week Nov. 24th to be exact Mom took them to do their jobs. It is now getting to be late in the season where the lawn's slow down a bit. So every other week is all that is required now. Here is a photo journal of their work.
Daniel is playing dodge the mower! what a safe game for a kid to play. He still has all his toes and fingers today amazingly. I put an end to this game after I reccorded it for postarity.
Macie was occupied today by reading and coloring. she was in the car the whole day!

Adam with the Yellow mower the Cadet! We have invested in new mowers over the last couple of years.
Dallin mowing at the same time with the Honda. Two mowers cuts the work time in half!

While two boys mow someone edges the lawns. Trevor got this job at this house.

Braden is Weed Wacking while the two mowers are going also. everyone is always busy. They do a quick blow off of the site and then call it good. That is a great days work! Way to go boys! We/they are saving every penney for our Christmas trip to Disneyland this year! we are SO excited!

http://randomsarahp.blogspot.com/2008/10/random-quirks.html Sarah thanks!
2. Mention the rules on your blog
3. Tell 7 unspectacular quirks about you
4. Tag 6 bloggers by linking to them
5. Leave a comment on each of the tagged blogger's blogs letting them know they've been tagged
So here I go 7 things you may not have known about me that are not so Spectacular but make me ME!

1. Photos, if you don't know by now that i LOVE taking photos, especially of my kids then where have you been hiding? I think it all stems from my Wonderful childhood. I cant complain about it one bit because it made me who I am and I'm OK with me. But having said that, Being the 9Th of 11 children I only have about 5 baby pictures to my name. the earliest photo of me is when am 8 mo! So I seem to be determined to not repeat that fate for my kids. although i am not having 11, I think I have more than done my share with 6 kids! Check out my photography Blog to learn more of what I am doing now.
http://rknudsonphotography.blogspot.com/
here is one of my lovely baby pictures with my sister Elizabeth. I was 8 or 9 months old.
2. Pens, OK I love pens! I love to walk down the pen isle at Wal-Mart or Target and just look and pick out a pen that looks like it writes good. I love Gel pens, Permanent pens and Drawing pencils! I even have quite a collection of pens from places we have visited. Doctor's Offices have the coolest pens! My current favorite pen is one bent pen I picked up in Dr. Ellyson's Chiropractor office. I love it when they just give them away. Free Pens!!
3.Drawing, Painting & Doodling, I know that is a lot to have in one quirk but it is all related I think. For as long as i can remember I have been obsessed with drawing, painting, paper, pens etc... I loved getting coloring books and crayons for Christmas each year as a kid. When I was about 10 I started taking drawing lessons from a neighbor in Orem, Utah. Then at 12 I received the best Christmas present ever, my parents got me Painting lesson's which I kept with till I graduated high school and went to Rick College where I majored in Fine Arts! I don't get to do much formal drawing and painting at this time in my life but love to do anything I can. I even Love to paint walls!!! I Do a lot of doodling in notebooks as I'm taking notes at Church or in meetings. here is a sampling.
4. Poetry, Quotes & Talks, As a kid I started collecting poems and quotes. anything that would uplift. I used to get poem books like these from friends growing up. I still love to collect favorite quotes & talks I hang my current favorites in my BATHROOM. The only place it's quiet from kids to be able to read them.

5. Vacuuming! That's right Vacuuming. I love to see LINES in my carpet! If there is lines from a vacuum in my carpet it doesn't matter what else is a mess in the house... all is right with the world and i can have peace. Here is my die hard Kirby! we have now had for about 14 years! And it is still going Strong (checking the picture again) Yes that is Duct Tape on the handle It isn't perfect but I love my Kirby!

6. Piles, OK this is one that I am not to proud of. but cant seem to shake this quirk. I make piles everywhere! I'll straighten up and just make neater piles! For example I cleaned my room just today and my dresser was covered in 3 separate piles i condensed and straightened and still ended up with one very neat pile on the dresser! HELP!!

7. Thrifting, or Funnin, as my grandma Zora used to call it. I love to Thrift shop! it is such a thrill to me to go into a place and find something almost new and pay almost nothing for it. it is like Treasure hunting and i always feel like i WON when i find something great, and i always find at least one thing great! As a Child Grandma would take us funnin to the DI and give us each a dollar and let us pick out anything. I will never forget how fun that was. Here is a photo of my closet Another quirk I have is, I love to have my shirts in Rainbow Color! Almost ALL these were purchased at thrift stores!
Ok as for who I am tagging
I do love you guys! sorry for the Tag. but i cant wait to see what you all come up with.
Love Bec

Tirck Or Treat

Trick Or Treat!
On Halloween we went trick or treating and met up with our good friends the Sorensen's. (Dallin and Nick planned it.) We had a very busy day on Halloween as you see from our earlier posts But I keep seeing these pictures of trick or treating and just have to add them! So WE went out for an hour after visiting Binki at work then headed to the game! Dallin & Nick got to head out for another hour by themselves (Yikes) but they survived. Sorry to the neighborhood if they came and tormented you. This most likely will be their last year to trick or treat so they were determined to make the most of it! And I'm sure they did! Although i never got a picture of them because they were always 3 or 4 houses ahead of us the whole time.

Surprise Party!

Adam Finally gets a party... Surprise!
Trying to be as low key as possible and not have a monster party with a million boys. I finally just invited 4 friends over and got it over with in a simple fun way. After him asking for the past 4 weeks when he could have a party he finally stopped asking so i decided to make it a SURPRISE! He was surprised too, truly! it was a lot of fun!
Here is everyone hiding in the toy room under the stairs ready to jump our and yell Surprise!
Tyler, Jonathan, Daniel, Macie, Teddy, Joey & James' head.
Thanks to Tyler & his dad they had Adam over after school to play then brought him home for the surprise!
Dallin made the cake and Macie frosted it. Daniel added the finishing touch with a few army men. I love have lots of helpers for stuff like this! How lucky!
Personal Pan Pizza Making... just take pop-n-fresh rolls, rolled out, Pizza sauce (recipe below), Cheese & toppings and you have an oven full of fun!
+=

step 1. Roll the dough!
step 2. Add Pizza Sauce!

Step 3. Add cheese and toppings, Bake 15 min @ 425. Enjoy!

He loved all the gifts! what kid doesn't love gifts!?

The CAKE!

Do you think this would make it on Cake Wrecks or what? I must remind you that Macie and Daniel Decorated it. So I'm pretty proud about this one to be exact. but it would be an honor to make it on cake wrecks too!

Adam is so scared of the cake he is going to shoot out the candles. well that is if we had any to put on the cake in the first place. It was definitely a simple party! He luckily had a blast just having his friends over.
